Word clouds are images with the words that are displayed in | Grade Teacher Training

Word clouds are images with the words that are displayed in different sizes or colours based on their importance and frequency. They can be successfully used in classroom to:
revise vocabulary
get an overview of students' writing
engage students in writing and reading activities

Here is one of the ways to make your classes even more fun and effective:
Create a word cloud based on a video, containing words you've already covered.
Show the headline of the video and a word cloud for some guesswork – what this video is about.
Ask students to write down a story, based on the video headline and a word cloud.
Attach the stories on the classroom walls (or use digital resources for online classes) for all the students to read them.
Ask students to watch a video and vote whose story was the closest to the original one and which story they liked best.
Do any activities you find appropriate at this stage.
