If you give me 3 latest words/expressions from earlier posts (
quixotic, up and running, clemency) and ask me to use them together in a sentence, I'll write something of this kind:
• Having been appointed the supervising manager, Henry had quite idealistic, even
quixotic, anticipation about the job -- motivating employees, being a senior colleague rather than a boss, etc; in just one week, though, he learned that to get the office
up and running, he had to be harsh, insisting, even sometimes refusing to show
clemency.
You can (and should) do quizzes, read memes and infographics, but if you do only this, your plane will be far from taking off. You are supposed to produce and express ideas.
One of the simplest ways to do that is combining random (well, almost) words in one sentence.
Can you create a small paragraph using the words below?
tender
thoughtful
solid
If you can, use the comment section in this post.
