2021-10-28 04:21:41 ​"Call of Duty" publisher Activision is cancelling its annual BlizzCon fan event next February amid ongoing sexual harassment and misconduct investigations.

"This was a tough decision for all of us to make, but it's the right one," the company said in a blog post. "Whatever the event looks like in the future, we also need to ensure that it feels as safe, welcoming, and inclusive as possible."

Activision, which is the parent company of "World of Warcraft" and "Overwatch" maker Blizzard Entertainment, is being sued by the state of California for fostering a "pervasive frat boy" culture where women are paid less for the same jobs that men perform, regularly face sexual harassment, and are targeted for reporting issues, the suit said. 2021-10-26 20:20:08 ​Chinese electric-vehicle startup Xpeng introduced a flying car, the X2, over the weekend, which the company says it plans to mass produce by 2024.

The low-altitude flying car has a steering wheel for driving on roads as well as a single lever for flight modes, according to TechCrunch.

According to a Xpeng website post, the X2 features rotors that can be folded away when the car is operating on roads and expanded when the vehicle is flying.

Xpeng is touting the flying car for use in urban settings, like going from the airport to the office. The vehicle has a maximum flight time of 35 minutes. Open / Comment

Local officials in Tokyo had clung on to the floppy, as it was ultra-reliable. The disks "almost never broke and lost data," Yoichi Ono, who is in charge of managing public funds for Meguro ward, told the Nikkei.
