Maybe he does love you, who knows. but words are words and actions are actions. and I've witnessed enough brokenness throughout the years to know the difference, and with all heart I can tell you this. maybe he does care. maybe he does love you. maybe you are his favorite. so he says. but how many times has he made you feel alone. how many times has he filled your heart with anger and sorrow. how many times have you felt the bitterness. the emptiness. the endless void that leads to nowhere. how many times have you cried…. enough tears to fill an entire ocean. ask yourself. how many? and if your answer is too many…. then by all means that alone speaks volumes. that alone should be the answer you're looking for. yes. maybe he does "love you" but you my dear, deserve a lot more.
