The 2- year US treasury yield is now below the Fed Funds Rate. (FFR)
Historically, the 2 year yield leads the FFR and when the 2 year yield is lower than the FFR, then it is witnessed that the Fed has paused its rate hikes.
In fact, a count of 10 times in history shows when the US 2 year yield has fallen below the FFR and the Fed had cut rates 9 out of 10 times (giving a probability of 90%).
