Europe has depended upon the US fuel exports to fill the gap created by the Russian Government halting exports to Europe. Yet, natural gas is $9 in the US & anywhere upwards of $40 in Europe.

How big is Europe's energy crisis?

Germany used to spend 1% of GDP on energy needs till last year but will be spending 15% of its GDP on energy this year.

If US restricts exports to Europe this winter as it wants to prioritize domestic economy, then what is the incentive for Europe to continue fighting this war?

It certainly can’t be at the expense of them seeing their citizens suffering due to cold, right?
