Another gift from Asia ruining my beautiful country.

After some discussion in the chat, I've decided to have a canary in the coal mine moment.

Let the sugarcane mulch vs "whoflungdung" by Nuetrog begin..

It's a long time until I can post results. For now, all I can say is whoflungdung costs about 3 x more to mulch the same area.

I'll be planting the same veges in both patches and will let you know wether it's worth the extra $.

I wouldn't recommend for one second you use either of these mulches for large areas(both at around 20 bucks a bag from Bunnings), but if you have limited room, you need to be maximizing yield and quality.

Beekeeper says varroa mite is easily treatable (so why are they killing the bees in Australia?)
Beekeepers Deb & Rich from Pennsylvania gives 3 different treatment options for varroa mite & demonstrates the one they use (mineral oil fogging for 10 seconds)

ABC says the government has "ordered all hives near the Port of Newcastle to be destroyed" that the keepers cannot go near their hives, and that thousands of hives can no longer be transported to be used to pollinate and that Australia is still suffering from lack of bees due to the devastating bushfires in 2019/2020 --

In another ABC article: "all hives or bee products are in a state of lockdown." & although they couldn't locate the mites in the batch they tested - they DESTROYED them anyway!
