Unconscious people often view themselves as the most conscious. Here’s some hints.
1. Their conflicts are very consistently the same. Weirdly, they use phrases like “give it enough time and someone will show you who they are” the statement should actually read….”give it enough time and who I am will create the repetitive conflict because I take no responsibility for my own choices”
2. The conclusions they come to are always the same. Ie. “They did something I don’t like, so they must be deep state”.
3. Their responsibility escape valve is always the same and always couched in a morally superior way. Ie. “I just let Jesus handle them” I’m a Christian who gets tired of watching people bastardize the Bible by cherry picking verses that excuse their own horrific behaviors. The number of times I use Jesus’s name has zero to do with how “Christian” I am. My behaviors have every thing to do with it. Judging and condemnation while evading personal responsibility is gross. Love and forgiveness is his legacy. I struggle with both often.
We are supposed to be a people in the world, not of it. May we be better as God has called us to lead.
