Every single public official trading on insider information is breaking the law.

There are already laws that prohibit this behavior. There is no need to pass another law. Simple prosecution of the laws in the books would put 70 percent of congress in jail.

This is the problem. They could give a shit because there are no penalties and they are protecting each other.

They DO NOT fear consequences because we the people have not demanded it.
