Let’s say you’re about to have open heart surgery. Is your surgeons skin color, sexual orientation and gender the most important? What if you were forced to accept the person doing your surgery because the hospital chose this person for those specifications? What if the surgeon knew that these were the qualifying determinatives? Questions I wonder about when I think of all critical positions being filled in all our society.
