To become prayerful saints, we must pray by the clock, at fixed times. This is very important. You'll never become a praying Saint if you depend upon impulse to call you to prayer. You'll never become a praying Saint unless you discipline yourself to a fixed program of prayer. To depend upon impulse as a guide to prayer will probably end in not praying at all.
