Sources close to Tuchel say he saw Chelsea as an experiment, if it failed, he wouldn’t want to manage another elite club, however he loves Chelsea and wants to stay for the long haul, he likes London, where he is enjoying book shops and spending family time.

Tuchel was happy to go to a challenger club like Bayer Leverkusen if he found life in London like it was in Paris.

Tuchel recently avoided trying to be seen in public with his daughters while on a trip by pulling his cap over his face.
