Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea plans after this weekend: "We will have one week off and one week to prepare for the FA Cup game and then we will leave for Abu Dhabi."
Thomas Tuchel on his plans for Chelsea players before Club World Cup: "We will do one week off for everybody but not the injured players or the players coming back from injury but everybody else. We tell them to be careful. All of them are fully aware of the situation. There will be recommendations but in the end they are free citizens."
Thomas Tuchel on what he did during his days off: "I was at the dentist. You really disconnect at the dentist. It is hard to think about football when you are in the dentist chair."
Thomas Tuchel on Chelsea's rest days this week: "We needed it. And I meant all of us. This is a team effort and I felt that the team was mentally tired which I could understand."
Thomas Tuchel on the mood at Chelsea: "I felt them disappointed and frustrated after the result at City and was harder for us to overcome the obstacles that for us is normal to overcome. There are reasons for it. Reasons that we talked about, reasons for which we cannot be blamed."
Thomas Tuchel: "The result against City did not help and yes we feel it. We try to bring ourselves into the right mindset and that your emotions don’t take over."
Thomas Tuchel:"That you know what you are doing. You can function like you want to function and when things are tough you play your role. But it’s not always easy and we have not always been so good at it."
Thomas Tuchel: "In isolation this is not a problem. We can see we lack a bit of freshness and the mental ability to step up again and again and not accept it."
