"Just for the hell of it."

Seriously—why should I objectify myself by reducing the value of my existence to my usefulness?

Purpose is for tools. I ain't no tool; I'm a human being, dammit!

For a sentient lifeform, there is only ever but one purpose in life, and that's to live. And if you're gonna do a thing, you might as well do it well, right? Otherwise what's the effing point?

So a less dehumanizing focus than "What's my life's purpose?" is "What does ‘living well’ mean to me?"
