Make no mistake, this fight is far from over, and once it is, there will be a new fight, a fight for justice, a fight to hold those to account who saw fit to abuse our most basic human rights and who chose to discriminate. Gaol will be the only remedy we accept. Australia has seem enough discrimination and segregation throughout its history to allow these tyrants to just walk.
The reality is, Lady Justice isn’t coming anytime soon, it might take the next 20 years, and we must be prepared to go for longer if we need to. The tyrants being protected by the tyrants above them will not be protected forever.
