This is one of the things I struggled with as a business owner before I overcame it. How I handled it is a story for another day. Nurturing your customers is a strategy as old as time. That’s why that lady that sells corn at your junction will see you passing and ask about your kids and how you’re doing. Nurturing your customers will keep them at the forefront of your mind and guess who they’ll remember first when they feel like eating corn? I know most of us know that we should nurture after they’ve bought from you but some of us don’t know that we’re not only supposed to nurture our already existing customers but we’re also supposed to nurture our potential customers. Customer nurturing involves building effective and long-term relationships with potential customers throughout their customer value journeys. You can nurture your customers and potential customers by, getting to know them, offering amazing customer service and support and check up on them once in a while and not just when you want to ask for their money.
