Sim swap class
1: email access
2: name address ssn/dob to the owner of carrier
3: used phone Verizon/att/T-Mobile as this method is for those 3 carriers
4: Verizon/att/T-Mobile prepaid SIM card you can purchase at any Walmart or rite aid Walgreens
Email access must be the same as on carrier file
To ensure that u need to see if the mobile e bill is being mailed to that address
Just search in the inbox for the bill
If u find the bill in the email that means u got the correct mail access
When you speak with them you will be telling them that you have MISPLACED your phone
Be sure to use the word MISPLACED
if you say LOST they will put in a claim
And they will make you wait for new device in the mail
You tell them you misplaced your phone and you have a replacement phone and SIM card that you need activated with your misplaced phone number
They will ask for your phone number name address ssn dob
They may or may not ask for your pin on the account but no worries
If they do ask for the pin on the account you explain to them that you made your pin a long time ago and you cannot remember it at this time
They will reset it for you by sending a code/link. They may ask do you have access to any other phone numbers on the account and you will tell them you only have access to your email on file
Therefore they will send the code/link to email and allow you to reset the pin to whatever you please
Now once the pin is reset you will continue by giving them the imei number of the replacement phone and iccid/SIM card number of the replacement SIM card
Now once you have given those things they will also need to send one more verification link to you just to confirm the changes which can also be sent via email
Once link confirmed give them a few mintutes to complete the swap they will instruct you to restart your phone and the phone should begin working with the same exact phone number as the victim
Now remember a few things...if the phone is unlocked it will work with any carrier you are swapping but if the phone isn’t unlocked it needs to be a Verizon phone if you are swapping Verizon and same with att and T-Mobile
The phones cannot be brand new because it will not work...it must be a phone that was activated for at least 30 days
If the representative gives you issues about send code/link to email just hang up and call back. They can definitely send to email but sometimes certain reps like to be dickheads. Good luck
