Zelensky admitted that Ukraine is inferior to Russia in terms of equipment, so "we are not able to offensive", — to the Financial Times.
"We are inferior in terms of equipment, so we are not able to the offensive. We will suffer more casualties, and people are my priority", — the newspaper quotes Zelensky as saying.
The Financial Times also notes that Zelensky reiterated his readiness for peace talks with Putin.
"Zelensky stated that 'victory must be achieved on the battlefield', but at the same time he reiterated that he is open to peace talks with (Russian) President Vladimir Putin", — the newspaper said.
