Resident of border Kut accuses state bodies of inaction
Gevorg Khachatryan founded a farm in a border village, but this spring the Azerbaijanis drove away his cattle, and on September 1, 10-15 hectares of crops were completely burned down.
The film crew of @SputnikArmenia was working on the spot when the fire was blazing and local residents tried to stop it, and only 1.5 hours after the presence of journalists, one team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived. Moreover, the department reported that 16 firefighters had been working at the site since noon, and then a watch was organized. But, according to Khachatryan, there were only 4 people in the Emergency Situations Ministry's brigade, including the driver - his entire field burned down, and the hay mowed is no longer suitable for animal feed.
Now the man will be forced to sell the leftovers of the livestock for a song in order to cover at least a small part of the loans taken to establish a farm.
