TnpscBooks — Telegram Channel

TnpscBooks runs as a bilingual Tamil/English prep channel built around the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission exams, and its posts split cleanly into two purposes. One stream is free government-job alerts: a new notification gives the vacancy count, required degree, pay scale, and application deadline for postings that have ranged from banking roles to income-tax department openings to state welfare-scheme jobs, each ending in a direct application link. The other, larger stream is paid promotion for the channel's own "Test Batch" mock-exam packages, aimed separately at Group 2/2A and Group 4 candidates and split further into Tamil-medium and English-medium versions.

The paid packages are described in concrete detail rather than vaguely: a fixed number of weekly online tests, a stated question count, subject coverage across Tamil, general knowledge, math and current affairs, and tiered pricing where a higher tier adds years of previous-year questions with answers and book-back exercises. Payment runs through UPI apps with a screenshot sent over WhatsApp, and enrollment posts lean hard on urgency — repeated "today is the last day to join" messages tied to each new test cycle.

What the channel doesn't offer is any actual exam content inside Telegram itself — no sample questions, no explanations, no free mock tests. Everything of substance sits behind a WhatsApp number and a payment link; the public posts are announcements and advertising copy for what's on the other side of that link, not a study resource on their own. The free job notifications are the exception: those are complete and immediately actionable without paying anything.

This suits a TNPSC aspirant already comfortable reading Tamil who wants a single feed combining government job leads with the option to buy a structured test series when a new exam cycle opens. It will frustrate anyone expecting free practice material, English-only content despite the channel's stated language, or a lower ratio of sales messaging to substance — job alerts aside, most of what's posted exists to drive a WhatsApp conversation and a payment, not to teach on the page itself.
