Today we're hitting you with a TON Swap re-up that comes with a
new long-term farming program What's long-term farming?
Long-term farming is just farming without a set end date. We are introducing infinity pools on TON Swap which means you can now farm for as long as your heart desires. Instead of having to join or create a new pool to change farming speed, now changes can be made at intervals of once every two weeks.
But, wait, there's more:
We've also got vesting for you which will help balance out increases in farming speeds and TVL. In addition to that we have introduced farming boosts which will allow liquidity pool tokens that do not make claims to be farmed at higher speeds than those that frequently make claims. The following pairs are eligible for boosts:
• WTON-USDT
• V2 USDT-WTON
• WTON-ETH
• WTON-BTC
• WTON-USDC
• USDT-USDC
Boosts will help stimulate even more long-term farming which will benefit the entire ecosystem.
Why the changes?
It's simple. TON Swap just keeps on getting bigger. The DEX now has more TON liquidity than all CEXs combined! And that figure is only going to continue to rise. Beyond that, total trading volume on TON Swap is nearing the equivalent of $40 million over its existence. Total net sales of TON currently amounts to a whopping 4.3 million tokens, about 1.5 million of which are the result of token farming. The majority of that farming output is the result of long-term farming projects in the FreeTON ecosystem.
Plus, thanks to the Crystal Handshake program and the other things we've got cooking, these moves make space for more projects to join the FreeTON ecosystem and expand our capabilites. There are a number of new tokens that are slated to be added to TON Swap which will further expand the DEX’s farming capabilities. Among the projects expected to join TON Swap are:
•FRTN (gaming industry, tip-3)
•EUPI (stable euro, tip-3)
•BDCC (gaming industry, binance ecosystem)
•FRAX (fractional-algorithmic stablecoin system based on ETH)
•Chatex (DeFi crypto bank)
•A bundle of tip-3 projects from the FreeTON ecosystem
•A bundle of projects from the ETH ecosystem
We've also got a report put together by Analytics & Support that will make it clear that a certain number of initials have chosen to pursue profit at the expense of community development. The report is going to detail the effect they have had on the ecosystem and what steps are going to be taken in order rectify the situation.
