TON Punks — Telegram Channel

TON Punks is the promotional channel for an NFT collection on the TON blockchain, but most of its output is actually about the game built around it rather than the collection itself. The bulk of posts are patch notes for District Clash, a turn-based mercenary battler where fighters are pulled from lootboxes (with stated drop rates: 70% common, 25% rare, 5% epic) and equipped through a skill-tree system that replaced an earlier random-bonus mechanic. These updates go deep into mechanics — initiative stats, shield values, cooldowns, weapon damage — the kind of detail that only makes sense if you already play the game.

Alongside the battler, the channel promotes two smaller gambling-style mini-games under the same "PunkCity" branding: Hyper.fun, a leveraged Bitcoin price-direction bet settled in under a minute, and CoinFi, an on-chain coin flip. Both are framed as feeding the $PUNK token, with 10% of collected fees earmarked for buybacks — the recurring commercial thread tying the separate games together.

New mercenary characters double as collectibles and as light entertainment: skins built around meme personas (Mr Freeman, Morgan Freeman, Gordon Freeman) or around figures like "Igor Sinyak" carrying a Hermes handbag, released through lootboxes rather than direct sale. Marketplace news is occasional but concrete — a listing on the Hot Craft marketplace, secondary-market links for buying the underlying NFTs directly. Seasonal activity shows up too: a December "Secret Santa" event run jointly with Getgems handed out free lootboxes and Telegram Gifts to active players.

Posting is irregular — stretches of a week or two of silence, then clusters of same-week updates when a patch ships. What is notably thin is the NFT side of "TON Punks" itself: there is no discussion of floor price, holder count, rarity traits, or collection performance anywhere in the recent history. Anyone joining expecting NFT market commentary will instead find game design notes and mini-game promos with a shared token incentive running underneath.

This suits an existing District Clash player who wants patch notes and lootbox drops as they land, or a $PUNK holder tracking where buyback fees are coming from. It is a poor fit for someone evaluating TON Punks as an NFT investment, since price, liquidity, and collection health are simply not covered. Treat it as a game-updates feed with a token attached, not as a source on the NFT itself.
