IRCTC Indian Railways has finalised the tariff for its new economy class of air-conditioned coaches which have 83 berths and prices for which are at least 8% lesser than existing AC 3-tier tickets.
The tariff for the new 3AC Economy class will be 8% less than prevalent AC 3-tier coaches.
The newly-introduced 3AC Economy coach shall be attached in all mail, express, and superfast services, the ministry added. As many as 50 such coaches have already been given to different zonal Railways, it added
