The underground hotel opened in 2018 in Shanghai, China. The hotel is built into the wall of a huge old abandoned granite quarry. The project cost $200 million.
It has 16 floors, 2 of which are underwater, 4 panoramic elevators. The hotel is surrounded by artificial lakes and waterfalls. On average, to spend one night in a hotel room will cost $ 670.
