Mockup of a hypersonic airplane is shown
Hermeus company the other day presented a full-size mockup of a hypersonic plane Quarterhorse, which will be able to reach speeds up to Mach 5.
It will be able to do this with a combined cycle unit based on the GE J85 turbojet engine. And there is enough fuel to cover a distance of up to 7400 km.
