Biological microbots for drug delivery through the body

An international team of scientists published a paper in a journal devoted to the development of nanorobots capable of delivering drugs to individual body tissues.

Organic bots were printed on a 3D printer and incubated in a solution of iron oxide to enable magnetization. The scientists showed how to use magnets to control the robot, moving it through the veins and giving it a signal to release the medicine from the reservoir.
