A 47-year-old British man lived with his penis on his arm for six years. In 2014, Malcolm McDonald had his penis amputated because of a crotch infection he picked up while homeless and using drugs.
Doctors found a way out and helped with this difficult situation: they made a new penis using skin from the man's left arm. But the transplant surgery didn't go all the way, because Malcolm had a lack of oxygen in his blood and the penis was temporarily sewn to his arm. And then the coronavirus pandemic began in the world, hospitals were short of doctors and the operation was postponed.
So "temporarily" dragged on for six years. And then, recently, everything was sewn back into place. And they even filmed the documentary.
