Elon Musk announced the approximate timeframe for the launch of the Starship rocket to MarsMusk said that the Starship spacecraft could make an unmanned flight to Mars in the next five years.
Musk noted that the "windows" for flights to Mars are opened every two years, the necessary arrangement of the planets for the flight from Earth's orbit to the orbit of Mars is set every 26 months.
He also expressed the hope that the first Starship launch will be attempted this summer, "within the next two or three months."
