"X-ray" vision will allow cars to see hidden pedestrians
The specialists of the Australian company Cohda Wireless are working on an ambitious project that will allow cars to see objects even around corners.
The developers propose to place in all cars, as well as the structural elements of the roads (curbs, traffic lights, poles), a network of sensors, combined into a common system. The AI will quickly assess the situation on the road and transmit it to the cars.
Thus, cars will be aware of pedestrians or road obstacles, even if they are in the blind spot.
