The British startup Air Company makes vodka from carbon dioxid | Trend Review: IT, technology, business

The British startup Air Company makes vodka from carbon dioxide emissions.

The carbon dioxide is drawn from the air near industrial facilities. It is then combined with hydrogen from electrolysis, a process that uses electricity to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen. After further fusion of CO2 and hydrogen, ethanol is obtained, which, when combined with water, becomes vodka.

However, the result is not cheap; a bottle of Air Vodka costs $65.
