Predicting is a form of narrative projection. It seeks to manufacture consensus, aka bias. Then the brain reinterprets all information in the context of that bias, which is a form of circular processing.

We all do it naturally because humans are passionate about what we believe and so we believe we are helping others when we share our “correct beliefs”… because of course our beliefs are correct, right?

Truth has greater transformative power with something like the Socratic method where the dots are shared without bias, and the mind of the listener has a true “eureka!” moment when it all comes together. We must practice!

We must be so exhausting to God. How does He put up with us??
