FAB assists in the interception of vessel carrying drugs
An aircraft of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) helped to intercept a vessel that was sailing on the coast, with suspected drug trafficking. The action was carried out on Friday (04/29), by the First Squadron of the Seventh Aviation Group (1º/7th GAV), through the aircraft P-3 AM Orion, which took off from the Santa Cruz Air Base (RJ), at 1:29 pm, after the Brazilian Navy (MB) had requested the action from the Aerospace Operations Command (COMAE).
