Pro-government senators want impeachment of STF ministers, says newspaper
The relations between the Presidency and the Supreme Court would be entering a new chapter of adversity after the pro-Bolsonaro caucus in the Senate was triggered by the Civil House to obtain approval in Congress to requests for impeachment of ministers of the judicial body.
According to Estadao newspaper, the senators who support Bolsonaro want Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco to vote on a bill that establishes a 15-day deadline for an impeachment request to be evaluated by the Senate leadership.
Also according to the newspaper, there are currently 27 requests for impeachment against the ministers, 12 of which are against Alexandre de Moraes.
