Brazil approves MP that expands private participation in the country's defense strategies
With Jair Bolsonaro absent due to the Summit of the Americas, the acting President of the Republic, Rodrigo Pacheco, who is also president of the Senate, published MP 1,123 in the Official Gazette of the Union this Friday (10).
The measure changes the rules on EEDs (strategic defense companies), which are legal entities accredited by the Ministry of Defense for procurement, contracting and development of defense products and systems.
