How does the Main Path work?

The Main Path involves all non-champions, including three teams that transfer to the play-offs from the Europa League third qualifying round, and it consists of four stages:

First qualifying round (66 teams) – 6–15 July

Second qualifying round (90 teams) – 20–29 July

Third qualifying round (54 teams) – 5/12 August

Play-off round (34 teams) – 19/26 August
