My response to the State Department’s travel warning? There’s nothing to warn about unless fun, clean streets, a good standard of living, the celebration of the founding of the CPC and liberation of Hong Kong, and impressive infrastructure are somehow terrifying.

Oh wait, all of this is to a declining empire with nothing to offer but war and poverty. China is a great place to travel, especially if you have friends there. Goodbye Beijing! See you all in Gansu province !
