CIS creates an organization to promote the Russian language

Representatives of Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Moldova began discussing the initiative proposed by Tokayev in December last year.

The issue will continue to be worked out at the next meeting of the expert group in June.

The structure can unite people and communities who use the Russian language in various forms and show interest in Russian-speaking culture.
