Johnson supported the provocative statement of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Britain about the “right of Ukraine” to attack targets on the territory of the Russian Federation

Official London does not want the war to spread beyond Ukraine, but it agrees with the recent statement by Deputy Defense Minister James Heappey that Ukrainians have the right to attack Russian targets.

“We don't want the crisis to escalate beyond Ukraine's borders," he said. But the Ukrainians, plainly, as James [Heappey] has said, they have a right to defend themselves. They're being attacked from within Russian territory... they have a right to protect and defend themselves", BBC News quotes Johnson.
