Have you heard about the experiment "A Month Without Sleep"?

In the 1940s, the USSR's special services were tasked with creating super-soldiers! One of the functions of such a superhuman was not to feel the need for sleep.

Scientists put this experiment to understand how the lack of sleep affects a person.

Briefly about the behavior of the group of subjects:
On the 5th day without sleep, they started talking to themselves and acting very anxious.

On the 9th day, some had panic attacks, as well as aggression.
On days 10-14, they sobbed, had tantrums, cried and howled. Some even ate their own feces.

On day 20, the observers had to enter the cells with the test subjects because they began to eat themselves.

They also broke their own bones, tore off pieces of their own flesh, ate it and remained perfectly calm, feeling no fear or pain.

Some of them died of their injuries. One died on the operating table. One was shot by the guards during a confrontation.
