Popularly known as the "Bloody Lady", she starved, tortured, raped and murdered maids and peasant women for many years.
The exact number of sadistic victims is not established, some speak of dozens, others of hundreds of people tortured to death.
Imprisoned under house arrest in 1610, she died of natural causes,
but there are still bloodcurdling legends of her as Dracula in the guise of a woman.
