Unfortunately it's just a copy pasted protocol from a 2006 patent on SARS and Ebola inhibitors, you would need mutagenesis primers for the gain-of-function PCR mutagenesis, the plasmid backbone and the expression vector being used, etc. and there is no reference to any of these things
