The day after I announced my candidacy for Chair of the SCGOP, Drew McKissick publicly announced that President Trump had endorsed his candidacy over mine.
That was quick!
I have seen 2 different versions of the purported March 2021 endorsement of McKissick on Save America letterhead. I am not sure which one is accurate as McKissick has not posted either one on his Twitter home page.
That seem a bit odd, doesn’t it?
I did not seek President Trump’s endorsement. I am under heavy attack by the propaganda media and I would not want the propaganda attacks on me to be used to attack President Trump.
Furthermore, I need the freedom to speak truth without being worried that what I say might by used by the enemy against President Trump.
I remain steadfastly loyal to President Trump and his policies. Nothing about the President’s alleged endorsement of McKissick changes my support of the President in ANY way!
