I've reached the point in my life where goodbyes don't hurt as | Unthinkable Beliefs.

I've reached the point in my life where goodbyes don't hurt as much as they used to. It's not because I've gone numbed or I don't value people anymore, but more because I've learned that life's too short and way too busy to keep everyone inside our bubble. No one told me this, but burning bridges in life is necessary. It allows us to focus on the people we really love, those who stayed, while letting those who were meant to just pass by enjoy their story.

I'll be forever grateful for everyone who found it worth their while to know me. Whenever people say goodbye—and most times they don't say it in words—I learned to accept it with an open heart. I still thank them inside my head with a promise that I will never forget the piece of themselves that they shared with me. And then I move forward, with hope that I can make the best out of those who chose to stay to the right of me, and those who stayed to the left of me.
