Friends, UPSC EPFO exam has 500+ vacancies and it has three po | UPSC Previous Year Papers

Friends, UPSC EPFO exam has 500+ vacancies and it has three posts one is assistant Provident fund Commissioner (APFC), which is equivalent to the group A services, almost parallel to Indian revenue service. APFC exam is happening after 2015 so it’s a one time opportunity for you to grab on (being the election year)

Simultaneously, two more posts will be filled up that is enforcement officer and accounts officer in the EPFO

In these examinations, UPSC aspirants have an upper edge as compared to other aspirants and in case your optional is commerce or management. Then it’s a wonderful opportunity. You should never lose if you are selected in this exam in this post it will give you a good carrear back up and I am not asking you to ignore your civil services exam nation, but take this only as a backup not as a primary job.

Now the first question arises that should we fill up the form for the exam? My answer is yes obviously you must fill up the form. it will cost less than hundred rupees or even free for some category of aspirants

The second question arises, should we prepare dedicatedly and separately for this exam? My answer is NO. first you should focus on CIVIL SERVICES PRELIMS 2023 which is scheduled in the month of MAY 2023.

The examination of EPFO will be held in the month of July or August October. the dates are yet to be finalised.

So once you prepare for the prelims 23, then your 70% syllabus of EPFO is already prepared. The major difference in the GS portion is only the type of question that they’re asking in the UPSC civil services are bit more difficult and Multi statement based and in the EPFO it is less complicated simple questions. So you need to solve only some MCQs for the GS portion.

Now those areas which are additional in the EPFO like accounts, auditing, industrial relations, labour laws, computer application. These subjects you can do side-by-side. I think you can devote one or two hour now or maybe immediately after the prelims you can dedicatedly focus one or two week for these subjects. This exam do not require more than that attention.

Keeping in mind the need of the civil services aspirants. We Are coming up with the good study material of the accounts, auditing, industrial relations and insurance sector as well as we are also coming up with the mock test of the EPFO exam.

Soon I will be taking a live webinar on how you should prepare for this exam without distracting your UPSC civil service examination
