Our 25th Infantry Division and 11th Airborne Division Soldiers are competing in #USARPACBWC2022 this week!
The competitors started off with Special Patrol Insertion/Extraction Systems training, then warrior tasks and battle drills.
They also completed the obstacle course and a mystery event where they had to don into MOPP level 4, a jungle 5k run within 40 minutes at Lighting Academy, Schofield Barracks East Range, and ended with a multiple weapon scenario-based marksmanship where they fire and clear a M240B machine gun, a M249 squad automatic weapon, a M4 carbine rifle, a M17 pistol, in addition, they throw three grenades and conduct individual movement techniques.
The board will be their last event!!
The USARPAC BWC 2022 is an annual week-long competition consisting of competitors from multiple USARPAC units across the Indo-Pacific. The noncommissioned officers and junior enlisted Soldiers are evaluated in several categories such as general military knowledge, basic Soldier skills, and physical fitness.
