In the criminal justice system, plea agreements can help maintain fairness and efficiency. The U. S. Embassy recently partnered with Regional Dialogue on a training session for prosecutors and defense attorneys in #Uzbekistan on negotiating plea agreements. Through discussion and a hands-on exercise, the attendees were able to develop a better understanding of plea agreements and their application.
