Malden, Massachusetts: A woman is accused of stealing a Malden Police Department cruiser and taking it on a ride over the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge in Boston.
Malden police said the cruiser was stolen while it was parked near the front door of the police station Tuesday night. Police issued an alert about the stolen cruiser, and a few minutes later, the vehicle was spotted on the Zakim Bridge operating erratically.
A Massachusetts State Police trooper spotted the stolen cruiser on Interstate 93 south near Massachusetts Avenue and attempted to conduct a stop.
