Another win for a family who were denied visitation rights in an Aged Care Facility!
Many of these cases are coming out of W.A, which isn't surprising. Aged care residents must have access to visitors, in particular, family members. We have had huge success in changing policies and procedures to allow for visitation.
It is the most rewarding outcome for our team to bring family members together. Seeing loved ones is in many cases, is what keeps the residents positive and alive so to attempt to remove that right is inexcusable.
