Spain has launched a rehabilitation course for corrupt officials who cannot stop stealing.

A pilot project to rehabilitate convicted corrupt officials was launched in nine prisons in Spain in March. Eleven months of group therapy should help them become honest people and re-integrate into society.

The program of 32 sessions was developed by the prison psychiatrist Sergio Ruiz. He conducted his own research and found: self-centeredness and narcissism are inherent in corrupt officials, and they also have a unique ability to create exceptions to their own rules.
