DISPLACING UNBELIEF THROUGH HIS PRESENCE

My last post wasn’t easy to share. The Lord calling out Unbelief as a major giant in the land is not very encouraging for those who have been diligently and patiently standing in faith. And yet, this is not about individuals, but the collective.

God is perfecting His Bride - which is made up of many. I do believe it only takes a remnant to break through to new territory, but the whole point of breaking in is to bring others with us. And that includes the doubters. Those on the frontlines have the grace to break through enemy lines and pave the way for everyone else to follow. The remnant of faith-filled believers is but the first phase of the transformation process.

The fact is, this giant of Unbelief is already being taken down. Why do you think Asbury is on the map? This move of God is not like past revivals because it’s all about His manifest Presence. Nothing else. Those who have gone testify to the overwhelming presence of God and leave changed. Without any fanfare or controversial manifestations, people are coming and simply basking in the reality of a supernatural and compassionate God. This is what overturns a spirit of unbelief into tangible faith.

Pointing out this giant of unbelief is not a rebuke to those who have been faithful. It is the very target into which God is moving. He is inviting us to recognize His provision to not only challenge this principality but to displace it with an unshakeable faith in who He is. He is alerting us to take the time to stop, look, and listen for the reality of His glory which is closer than we realize. There is a place for declarations and proclamations of power, but He is taking us beyond words to a life-changing encounter of heaven on earth.

“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalm 84:10)
